July 2026 Charter & Offshore Fishing Report — Corolla, NC

Our charter boats have been staying busy this July, with steady action both nearshore on the wrecks and offshore along the Gulf Stream. Whether you're looking for a half day close to the beach or a full day chasing pelagics, the bite has been cooperating.

Spanish Mackerel & Bluefish

Charter trips have been putting anglers on Spanish mackerel and bluefish, both good for fast, steady action for groups of any experience level.

Large Red Drum

Larger red drum have been coming aboard on our charter trips as well, giving anglers a chance at a real fight on light to medium tackle.

Sea Bass & Triggerfish

Out on the nearshore wrecks, sea bass and triggerfish have been rounding out the box for anglers looking to bring home dinner.

Offshore: Tuna & Mahi

Offshore, tuna and mahi action has been consistent along the Gulf Stream, which is typical for peak summer around the Outer Banks.

Wahoo & Billfish

We've also seen scattered wahoo and some billfish come aboard on our full day Gulf Stream trips, a nice bonus on top of the steady tuna and mahi bite.
